Announcing Kiwanis Club of Tulsa's Newest Project:

After unanimous board approval, the Kiwanis Club of Tulsa has made a partnership with The Parent Child Center of Tulsa to help raise awareness of child abuse.

The "Blue Ribbon Team" will be headed by David Guier and will be a subcommittee of our Young Children: Priority One Committee.  April is Child Abuse Prevention month and our first two speakers will highlight this theme.  During the month, Kiwanians will be given pins and ribbons to have and distribute as part of the statewide campaign.  We will also be assembling and placing "Pinwheels in the Park."  Each pinwheel signifies a confirmed case of child abuse and these will serve as a visible reminder of this epidemic problem.  If you are interested in being a part of this new committee, contact the Club office.
